"monumental error"

The red and white M-sign on some old buildings in Eindhoven stands for a monumental status, which is only given to special or valuable old buildings that should be preserved.
Despite this protection many other old buildings sadly have been demolished the past decades in Eindhoven. Quite often the reasons for this seemed to be unclear but mostly they were replaced by grotesque old people's homes, shopping malls or worse, having a great impact on the city and what it looks like today. Pretty horrible in some parts.

A monumental sticker declares any object monumental, and questions the value of a monumental status or the definition of defacement or damage.
